Se la belle

Arr. Alexander Burdiss

Gilles Binchois was one of the most famous composers of the 15th century. The rich sororities and powerful melody of this short work are what make it attractive to performers and audience alike. This early work would be a great addition to any recital, and would work extremely well with a trio of sackbuts.

For this edition, the traditional notation has been modernized, and certain edits have been made to make the work more suitable for the contemporary tenor trombone.
